Dr Maguire has a particular interest arthroscopy of the elbow.

Some fractures may be amenable to “arthroscopic assisted” fixation such a radial head fractures, uni-condylar humeral fractures, capitellum fractures and coronoid fractures associated with elbow dislocations. Percutaneous fixation may avoid large open incisions in these situations.

Other fractures around the elbow may require Open Reduction and Internal Fixation with plate and screw systems.
