A New Era of Healthcare: Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre Now a Fully Licensed and Accredited Day Hospital.
Today, we have some incredibly thrilling news to share that is sure to make a major impact on our healthcare journey. We are absolutely delighted to announce that the Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre (MISC) has received the honour of becoming a Fully Licensed and Accredited Day Hospital. This is a significant milestone that not only validates our steadfast commitment to excellence but also paves the way for a new era in patient-centric healthcare.
Our Facility is now able to bill Private Insurance companies if needed but we will continue to treat many patients under the Medicare Safety Net to ensure all patients, including uninsured patients have access to our Word Class Facility. Workers’ Compensation and DVA patients will continue to be catered for here at MISC.
Since our establishment, MISC has tirelessly pursued a singular vision: to offer the highest quality of minimally invasive surgical care, where patient safety, comfort, and swift recovery remain at the core. Our unyielding dedication has always driven us to continuously strive for better, to seek out opportunities for growth, and to always serve our community to the best of our abilities.
Achieving this accreditation is far more than a rubber stamp. It symbolises our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. This achievement is testimony to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of every single member of the MISC team, who tirelessly work behind the scenes to ensure that each patient receives the best of care.
But, what does this mean for you, our patients?
Transformative Care, Better Outcomes
Becoming a Fully Licensed and Accredited Day Hospital allows us to broaden our horizons and transform our services beyond just minimally invasive surgical procedures. Now, we can offer a more diverse range of medical procedures that require a simple day hospital stay, promising a seamless experience that minimises disruption to your everyday life.
Our skilled team of surgeons, nurses, and administrative staff will continue to provide the highest quality care but in a more comprehensive and streamlined fashion. Our state-of-the-art facility, complete with advanced surgical technology, the ability to perform local anaesthesia, sedation and/or general anaesthesia, along with incredibly comfortable recovery bay recliners, will now cater to a more diverse range of medical needs and the most discerning of patients.
Enhanced Accessibility, More Convenience
As a fully accredited day hospital, we are now better positioned to ensure that our services are more accessible to those who need them the most. We understand the stress and inconvenience that comes with extensive hospital stays. As such, we aim to make medical care a more convenient, comfortable, and less daunting experience for our patients and their families.
Superior Quality, Exceptional Safety
Our accreditation from reputable healthcare authorities assures you of our dedication to superior quality care, stringent safety standards, and excellent clinical outcomes.
